Ever think you’d be interested in making your
own stamps or creating your own designs on paper
and canvas? Well, now is your chance to do it!
With her background in printmaking and design,
Sharon will guide you through a delightful day of
adding personalized items to your collection of
collage choices. Whether you are a beginner or a
seasoned pro, you will enjoy this creative
experience!
Supplies you’ll need: Small 5 x 7 sketchbook,
several sheets of white or natural papers, tissue
paper (the kind used for gift wrapping), Sumi-e
paper, any acrylic paints you have, 1” flat
nylon brush, linoleum carving set, at least 3
Speedy Carve linoleum pieces to carve, roll of
cheap white kitchen trash bags, items to make
marks with like cardboard, lids, corks, bubblewrap,
combs, Saran wrap, scissors, rubbing alcohol,
hairdryer, apron.

This workshop is for the student that has a passion for
creativity and is ready to experiment! In this workshop Sharon
will provide information about products, content, design, color,
texture and process. This workshop is all about letting go and
having a positive experience with art and expressing yourself
through creating. Join us for a day of discovering collage
techniques!
Supplies you’ll need: Supplies you’ll need: Small 5 x 7
sketchbook, 3 sheets 140# CP watercolor paper, found, printed or
photocopied text or images, assorted decorative papers, 8 oz.
container of matte medium, regular gel medium (matte), 1” flat
nylon brush, at least five colors fluid acrylics including
titanium buff (I use Matisse Flow), Saran wrap, scissors,
rubbing alcohol, tape, hairdryer, palette paper, apron, bone
folder.

Time: 10am-4pm
Join Sharon in the classroom for a fun day of creating! We will
take painting to the next level, by experimenting on paper and
fabric. From tissue paper to watercolor paper and muslin to raw
canvas, discover the freedom of your inner spirit. We will use
all kinds of products from inks and watercolors to acrylics and
textile paints. Toss your inner critic to the curb and learn to
embrace your own personal approach to creativity!
Supplies you’ll need: Tissue paper, assorted rice papers,
watercolor papers, hand made papers, raw canvas, muslin, natural
cotton fabrics, watercolors, acrylics, inks, assorted brushes.
Dust all of those art supplies off and let’s play! Optional
items: rubbing alcohol, water spray bottle, stamps
